Very happy with my stay! Hotel is so posh! Awesome entrance up these unique stairs like a futuristic club!

Front desk has fine intricate detail! There is a really cool bar that is super active at night! The whole hotel transforms from day to night! Great city feel to it!

Staff was very courteous and very hospitable at the front desk! We booked online so we got a great deal on this hotel! We got the room for a hundred and change which is a deal because on their site they want almost 300 for the smallest room! We liked it so much we booked another night while we were staying there! The front desk was so happy to please us they recommmended we go back to the site and book on there to get another discounted night!

They provide free computer usage in the hotel!

Rooms were smaller than expected but cozy! Really cool oversized giant down bed with a large wall size mirror behind it. Nice bathroom. Small but not bad! If you have more than two people for the queen single room you may prefer to upgrade because it will be tight!

Central location. Close to everything!

A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I am very likely to return to the Hudson Hotel in New York City.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Yes, the other reviews posted about the rooms being small are true,but there not tiny tiny and you have some room to move. But it is NYC, so what do you expect,besides your not in your room the entire time. TV was small, but never really watched much of it. The beds are COMFY! We stayed on the 7th floor and could hear noise from the streets(taxis,traffic, etc.) so invest in some ear plugs if you cant sleep with noise. Very chic, classy hotel. Staff was nice, and even gave us suggestions when we asked.

45 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

I've stayed in many hotels, many places, but I have never, in my experience, encountered a more rude, indifferent staff -- no, make that obnoxious staff. My publisher sent four boxes of books (via courier) for me to sign. The concierge said they never arrived. Next day, my publisher sent four more boxes (via courier from ten blocks away). The concierge said they never arrived. When I insisted they did, and showed him the signed receipt, the guy actually got down on his knees (and seemed at home there) and created a scene, moaning "I'm begging for your forgiveness". Incredible. The bartender, and desk personnel were clone-like in attitude -- in fact, a dysfunctional family may well own the place.

Located near Central Park and within walking distance of touristy and non-touristy destinations, including The Dakota apartments and other celeb digs. Chic, modern decor (hardwood flooring, lighting options add ambience) is second to none, both in public areas and in rooms. Cool off with some upscale mall walking in nearby Time-Warner building (and pick up affordable meals/snacks at the Wholefoods Market downstairs there). Great prices if purchased through bargain sites ($200). Lovely patio with New York reasonable lunch prices. Room on 10th floor quiet. Only minor negative comment would be that some attention to detail is needed with occasional furniture chips. Size might be an issue only if you plan to hang around in your room with other people, as the design compensates quite well for this. Great service.

It is a nice place to go to have fun with your friends or date. Nice lounge, restaurant, roof.

We had guest from oversees, and here are the dimensions of their room: 11f/11f, a bathroom 4f/5f, no refrigerator, a TV 11inc/11inc. If you have claustrophobic issues, is definitely not place for you. If you have expectations of regular size room is definitely the place for you. If you expect to get a decent room for 425 USD is definitely the place for you.

We are embarrassed in front of our guests for the "chicken box" rooms we offer to them.
