A big Wyoming Welcome awaits you in a relaxed country setting. This very western, secluded, ranch house is perched high on a hill with views all around that invite walkabouts, yet it's only 10 minutes from Frontier Park, downtown activities, the airport, and Interstate 25 north and south and Interstate 80 east and west.
The Howdy Pardner is on the way to elk, deer, antelope and goose hunting, as well as great stream and lake fishing. Cheyenne attractions include Old West Museum at Frontier Park, the State Capitol and State Museum, Historic Governor's Mansion, Terry Bison Ranch, and Warren Air Force Base. Take a day's drive to the National Historic Site of old Fort Laramie and watch a typical 1800's day unfold as costumed inhabitants go about their chores. Be sure to stop and see the wagon ruts on the Oregon Trail.
Gather in the living room for before-breakfast drinks or in the evening around a cheery fire to watch the western sunset. Western bronze sculptures are prominent in the room. Hearty breakfasts are served in true western style with merry conversation around the table. Guests eat together at the designated time unless other arrangements are made.
We offer three guest rooms, each with queen size bed, private bath, telephone and TV/VCR. The Doll Buggy Room provides a quiet and comfortable ambiance. The bed, chair, and table with cowhide top under glass, were crafted by a local carpenter. Antique dressers and luggage racks provide ample space for guest belongings.
A 'room' under the stars will give you a taste of the Old West in the sheepherder wagon. It sleeps two under a cozy down comforter. An electric lantern provides light at night. The original four-burner stove has been retired from service. The necessary room is an easy jaunt to the main house at any hour.
Come experience the West at its best, Pardner!
