This hotel was recommended to me, so I thought I would try it.
I did not have a reservation, and needed a place to rest after traveling on road. I am disable, and end up in high pain when doing any activities.
I have a service animal, a cat, which travels with me, she is good, obeys, doesn't cause problems. I use a walker, and have severe back injuries.
This hotel does not accept cats, but do allow dogs. Since my cat is a service animal, and I have the paper work to prove it, I've never had problems finding a hotel. By law, all hotels have to accept service animals. And I never had to pay for her, but this hotel wanted me to pay $10 a night. The staff was trying to disprove her as service animal, saying cats are not service animals.
Since I needed a room, I went ahead and paid for everything. What a mistake. Upon checking into room, I was too sore and tired, so rested some, then had to meet up with family.
Hot water took a long time to heat up, I was done with shower before it kicked in. It was luke warm. The wall paper in bathroom is peeling, the toilet paper holder is broken. Only two pillows per bed, being disable I need more. Pillows are hard.
Breakfast can be improved. I stayed in hotels that charge less, but served better breakfast.
Although I was to be here four days, I did not stay the entire time. Moved to other lodgings.
Like I said, this place was recommended to me. My friend stayed in Nov 07, and he had no problems. In a short time, place went downhill, and he even agreed with me. He drove me here, was with me when I checked in, and he could not believe the bad service.
Laundry room was out of service when he stayed here, and is still out of service. Cockroaches in bathroom, cigarette burns on bathtub.
