Fell in Love with Queens Village – Posted Jul 20, 2008

21 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This was my second trip to NYC and my first to Queens Village. This hotel was near shopping, salons, food, transportation, everything! The staff was very help and nice. There is an ATM located like right outside of the door on the front of the building and that was helpful. I am a small town girl looking to move to NYC soon , so I have absolutely no doubt where I will be staying for awhile. This hotel IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!!!

40 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

We had a very pleasant stay at Howard Johnson in Queens Village. Check in was easy and we were greeted upon arrival. Staff was friendly and courteous. The room was a pleasant surprise. It was a newly renovated room. Our room was clean and new. We had a flat plasma TV, nice and new furniture and WI-FI was really fast. Pillows, sheets and beddings were clean. Breakfast was good also with many choices. This hotel is near everything. I highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely love to come back.

A+ Staff: This was the first trip I've ever planned. The lobby and rooms were all clean and orderly. I wasn't certain if they allowed early check-in, and they do, which was a big help for a first time traveler! The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. Very nice people! Transportation was very easy! The LIRR train was literally yards away from the front door to Manhattan in minutes! VERY CONVENIENT! I had a lovely stay and would consider choosing that hotel again!

The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on and around the city and shopping. The rooms were great! The complimentary breakfast was healthy and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.
