Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel

maid stole our evening wear and lingerie. hotel room was ok, bellman was nice, however i forgot to put do not disturb sign on the door,i told the front desk that we did not want service cause we just checked in late last night. I went to the doctor when I came back the room was cleaned, she even folded my dirty clothes that I left on the chair. Now I am out of the country and back home, I went looking for my evening bag and matching shoe and some of my lingerie and they are no where to be found.

It was very difficult to access the hotel. The only access to anything was via a major bumper-to-bumper highway.

I really just view hotels as places to sleep and shower in between travels. This Howard Johnson provided a clean room and decent meal, so it met my expectations. The location leaves a bit to be desired as it was a thirty-five dollar cab ride from the airport and even further from downtown Miami. The area was unattractive suburban. But it had various shopping necessities and other food options within walking distance. It was near a highway, so would be appropriate for somebody renting a car or driving their own.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: My room was clean and the chairs were pleasant to sit in. The bed was nice and clean. The lighting levels were appropriate.

My room was in disrepair and dirty. The elevator was broken. It was hard to find things and services.
