I liked that it had a mini kitchen with everything you could need if you'd decided to eat in the room, I also liked the service in the restaurant.It was too far from Miami beach, and the menu in the restaurant was very limited and overall expensive...

Never again will stay here. this hotel was the worst hotel i've ever been in. the hotel staff was rude when you call to ask for towels because house keeping never answered the phone. at one point i went to take a shower only to find that there was no water. when i called to inquire about the water outage, i was informed that the hotel was going through some sort of maintainance emergency that required a 1 and half to 2 hour water outage. i was outraged because it was 10am and i had somewhere to be, not to mention they could have informed the guests that there would be no water or that they were having a water crisis instead of us finding it out the hard way. i will never again sacrifice comfort and hospitality for cheap and rude. it's true what they say, you get what you pay for.
I am not likely
to return to the Howard Johnson Plaza Dezerland Beach & Spa.
I would not recommend it to friends.
