Howard Johnson Plaza Anchorage Hotel

Great Alaska hotel in the heart of Anchorage business district. Very friendly staff!

It was a great location, with nice facilities and a great and helpful staff front desk and housekeeping. All were quite friendly.

It was a nice, quiet hotel. It had a good location in the downtown area.

We had a large group for the wildlife society national conference and several people had problems with their service. The front desk said it would be fine to pay each room separately, but yet we experienced problems paying separately. We also had problem with our key cards not working at times. One person even had another guest walk into the room expecting to rent out the room, too, and shocked to find another occupant.

The towels showed residual stains. Otherwise, it was comfortable. But I have stayed in nicer hotels for the same price.
