57 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed at this location last week. It is a very good location, very close to the beach. I was charged 2 times on my credit card. A one night stay nearly cost me $629.50. My bank had to stop the 2nd charge because the Front Desk Staff / Management do not have the ability to perform their jobs properly. The front desk staff- management were very rude and not willing to cooperate and resolve their mistake.
I had to call customer service to get a message to the management and owner Mek Sheth. However, they never would return my call or credit my account back. My bank had to file a claim against them to return my money back on my credit card . House Keeping was very kind. We did not have power after 11:55 p.m. the night we checked in. There was a power outage. There was also a foul odor throughout the motel and in our room.
I would have expected a partial refund but let it go not to make a scene. I would never recommend anyone stay after my experience @ Howard Johnson Inn on Tybee Beach.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. Quiet,Clean and very polite staff. I had no blow dryer and they offered to let me use one out of the lost and found. Thanks Alot! I would recomend this hotel to anyone that wants to be close to the beach.
