Awful

54 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The room was a disaster, with holes in the bathroom, no security chain on the door and the terrible looking tub.

I am not likely to return to the Howard Johnson Inn Tucson.
I would not recommend it to friends.

46 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

The maid service was horrible. We had to track down maids to get service done. In fifteen days of stay, they changed the bedding only four times. We had problems at night with drunks in the parking lot. The front desk staff was unwilling to call the police to solve the problem, so I had to call them myself.

I am not likely to return to the Howard Johnson Inn Tucson.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Mediocre

52 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

The hotel room was filthy, old, and smelled like urine. The faucet was broken. I changed rooms the next day, but the second room had the same smell. Tourists should beware of travel packages offered online. They obviously do not check these places. We needed handicap accessibility and told them so when we booked. All H/A rooms were taken the night we arrived. This hotel was the worst part of the trip.

I am very likely to return to the Howard Johnson Inn Tucson.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It took 20 minutes to check in, and then they sent us to 2 rooms that hadn't even been made up. There were only enough for one person. A gap under door of 1 1/2 inches let bugs and roaches in. The clothes rack in the room was broken.

Rude customer service at the front desk. Many other things didn't work, such as the washing machine. The room only had one cup and no clock. Will never stay there again.

I am not likely to return to the Howard Johnson Inn Tucson.
I would not recommend it to friends.
