Howard Johnson Inn Ocala Hotel

For the last 6 months we spend an average of 3 days every month there. The service is good, the rooms are clean and the options where to go to eat are incredible in the area. is just a low price hotel. If somebody is complaining they should go somewhere else.

This Howard Johnson hotel was amazing. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to come back any time.

This hotel made me feel welcome: All the staff was very friendly. Everyone went out of their way to offer the best service possible.

The front desk staff was very rude and unaccommodating. The staff in the restaurant was not much better. When I tried to order room service, (after a long day on the road I was very hungry, and there is not much else in the area to eat,) I was told by the employee that answered the phone that "they would have to call me back". They called back a little over an hour later with no explanation for the delay. My 3 year old son also found a rather large knife in the sofa. Thank goodness he wasn't injured.

The hotel was fine. Actually, I thought Howard Johnson's was out of business, so I was surprised to find one.

The pricing on the exterior sign applies only to single occupancy. That was irritating!
