The front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The maid service was great.
It's an older hotel especially in the bathroom were paint is flaking and rusty faucets. But it was clean. Had problems with the heater, its an older unit so...

The Howard Johnson in Harrisburg has large spacious rooms with two Queen size Beds. Very conveniant to Hershey Park and has a large outdoor pool. Great Staff

The staff was competent but the room was not in great shape. The beds were very hard and not very comfortable. The sliding glass door was in poor shape and the wall was cracking and there were almost no electrical outlets to plug in a cell phone or anything of that nature. It was not worth the price for the room.
I am not likely
to return to the Howard Johnson Inn Harrisburg.
I would not recommend it to friends.

My family stayed here for 2 nights. We had a wonderful time. Room was very clean, bed was comfy. Pool was just out the back sliding door. Very conveient to everything. Not far from Hershey Park. If in the area again . Would stay here. Front desk...

I was shocked at how big the room was, very pleased with the extra vanity sink outside of the bathroom, the receptionist was terrific. I was very impressed with the whole experience and will seek out more Howard Johnsons in the future.
