46 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

The staff and the location were ok. The room was the worst I have seen. The carpet was trashed, the sink was hanging off the wall, molding was falling off or missing. It was hard to believe they got premium prices for it. I would not normally stay in a place that bad but it was late and in an unfamiliar area.

I am not likely to return to the Howard Johnson Inn Darien.
I would not recommend it to friends.
