This place is a low budget nightmare. Vomit on the steps, homeless in the hallways at night, and broken security locks only begin to paint the picture. Don't count on the rates and don't try the breakfast.

Even if a motel is old, I expect it to be clean.
The condition of this room makes me think that management is trying to cut corners by limiting the housekeeping staff to a minimal amount of time per room, or housekeeping just doesn't care and management is not doing their job by checking up on the work their employees do.

Comfortable, clean, roomy room with plenty of light. In-season rates way cheaper than most of the other hotels in the area, and closest to downtown, Selby Botanical Gardens, and St. Armands Circle (shopping).
