The motel was clean and well run, the breakfast was a good low price, the indoor pool was smallish but fine. The outdoor pool was lovely. A tidy place. We loved the plastic palm trees and tiki finery. Sorry we didn't partake of the entertainment in the lounge, with the floor show or comedian, but maybe next time. The indoor waterfall was charming-- Elvis would have approved. There is apparently an Elvis contest in Lake George, so this would be an appropriate place to get in the mood.

this place is amazing. the food in the cafe is wonderful, and so is the food for the polynesian show. the staff was amazingly helpful, and quick to respond to the needs of the customers. there is staff on the front desk all the times and are very freindly and responcive to the needs of me and my family. the pools were clean and so were the rooms. very resoniably priced for a stay at lake george.

they are very close to the lake and the villiage about a ten minutes walk to both places.

the show and the comedy club were very entertaining, when availible and are a must do when you stay in lake george.

I didn't even stay at the hotel and I could tell that it's a horrible place. They say the are unbiased buthey're not they are disrimitory!!! Me and my boyfriend made reservations to stay there for are annivasary and when we got there we couldn't check in because they said that since I wasn't 21 they had reason to belive that cause damage to the room...news flash you don't have to be 21 to stay in a room just to buy a room and they said that I would need a gaurdian since when need a gaurdian i'm 19!!! anyway we found a much better place to stay the Holiday Inn the staff is very nice and the rooms are only a little more costly than the Tiki....so I would say don't stay there its also old and musty!!!

I would give the rating as a zero, but unfortunately that is not an option. Me and my boyfriend came for a friend's wedding, and thought that the howard johnson would be a nice place to stay.

The photos are decieving!!! The hotel is old looking and moldy. As soon as we arrived in are room, a maintenance worker tried to open our door, which caught is off gaurd and made us feel really uncomfortable. Apparently he had th wrong room and was looking to switch the balcony light on a room a floor above us (how do you not know what room your going into when the number is posted right on the door?)

Overall, as soon as we arrived we called to cancel our second night to book a hotel that was more up to par. The little "cheap" motels would have been even better. We would have liked to go down and get a drink at the bar, but everything was closed in the hotel. The indoor pool looks unsanitary and is the size of a full size SUV, if even. Would not put my pinky in it.

So, if you would not mind staying in a mildew stinky underclass hotel, this is the place for you, but I would recommend Fort william henry or the holiday inn (even super 8).
