when you first walk into the room the funk hits you in the face,still trying to figure out where the wet dog is hiding! where you at lassie? Right then my bf said lets go! the towels are like wash clothes, they suck, looked like dry spit all over the walls and the room wall to wall has patches of spit,the fridge sounded like it was on life support,like it was alive and breathing,sealing had patch work thought we were looking at stars, uh new decor??? they were pee stains on the floor in the bathroom,,,Thank GOD for my flip flops! To top it all off came back from breakfast our door wouldnt let us in, the maid came and karate chopped the door - BAM, lol...And im not lying! even though it was close to everything we will not be staying here anytime soon.

Hotel was clean and in a good central location to all Huntington Beach activities and hot spots. The continental breakfast was not that great and very limited. I would not count on eating breakfast there each morning. Other than that, hotel service...

Very affordable and only 2 miles from the beach. That being said, just your very depressing bare bones motel room. I recalled staying at another Howard Johnson that seemed much nicer. Plenty of dining choices close by, but if you don't know the area ...

Off the freeway.No parking. This hotel was loud and the walls were thin, kind of a shady area of Huntington, were we had drunkards yelling outside our door all night, the night before Easter. Not happy with the room to dingy and not enough light.
They gave me a full refund.Bathroom

Horrible
They gave me a full refund.Bathroom smelled like urine, was not cleaned. Toilet seat broken. Verify disappointed, had to stay elsewhere with no reservation paid twice as much for ok room. But is was clean.
