Howard Johnson Express Inn Cherry Hill Hotel

As the title says, basic rooming at a fair price. The room was fine, everything worked. If possible ask for the ground level unless you like steps. Easy to get to and near food and a mall.

There was no elevator and the stairs to reach our second floor room were in poor repair and had no handrail. The floor in the room was uneven and bumpy. The internet connection did not work.

The hotel was dirty, the pool was closed and overgrown and the advertised amenities such as a continental breakfast were not available. They said it was because of the renovations but the lobby was done and the pool was not being worked on.

It was a very efficient operation.

It is centrally located for our family visits, has good breakfasts, and feels secure. The beds are comfortable, and the room is nice and clean. The wired Internet is very handy, but my computer wouldn't work this time due to a problem with my computer. I thought it was the motel's problem until I got home. Management tried to correct the problem, but it was mine. I will use the same motel on my next visit. I used it five times in 2004 and will use it twice in 2005.
