45 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
beware of very rude staff and cancellation policy. Howard Johnson paperwork states one day cancellation but hotel staff insist you have to give two days notice.They literally said they "Don't care" what it says on the reservation paperwork. The receptionist was constantly rude and when i said i'd write to Howard Johnson's main office he just said "Do it".
I did. It appears this is a franchise hotel and the main Howard Johnson office has little authority over it. i.e they can treat you how they want and you can't do much about it
