Gold Medal Award Property The Howard Johnson Inn Sandusky is located just one mile from the Cedar Point Amusement Park Causeway. Cedar Point holds the Guinness Book Of World Records for the tallest, fastest, steepest roller coaster. Major Restaurant within 1-2 miles. Port Clinton, Kelley's Island is 20-30 miles away. We have 30 Units-Completely remodeled 2004. After a long, fun filled day at Cedar Point, Come and feel at home with our small, guest-oriented staff. We have a Free Continental Breakfast, expanded Cable, Free HBO, and 25 inch TV. There Is Also An Outdoor Pool.

Wanting to experience a cheap, short get-a-way, my wife and I took our kids to the Sandusky area. We stayed at the HoJo listed above and to say the least it was HORRIBLE. We checked in only to find a nasty room that smelled of cigarette smoke, a dirty bathroom and tub, and small bugs near the bed. Unsure if they were bedbugs, but that was a HUGE concern. To top everything, while my wife, 3 small children, a friend staying in another room, and I were standing on the balcony area (which overlooked the pool and parking lot), an employee of this dump came from the office area wearing only a towel and intoxicated. After asking us to join him in the pool area (at 11:30PM), he dropped his towel and exposed his NAKED ass and body to all of us!!!! Yes, my kids were standing there and this jackass stripped naked in front of them and jumped in the pool. Did I mention that it was raining and only 60 degrees outside!!!! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!
