Where do I start? I have been in many hotels in third world countries that were better than this dump. If we hadn't checked in after midnight after a long day at cedar point we would have left immediately! After ducking the numerous spider webs all over the door and walkways, we got in the room only to find a filthy bathtub, coffee stains on the sink, stains on the mirror, stained upholstery on the chairs, and dirty pillow cases. It made me wonder if the towels and sheets had been changed. Plus, there were cobwebs from the curtains to the night table. After 10 minutes the TV blew up and white smoke started coming out from the sides of the TV. The smell of burned electronics was it. I got the lady at the desk to give us another room. At least this one was a little cleaner but the TV didn't work.
Also, after showing this lady the filth from the first room she was not even apologetic. Her attitude was more 'Oh well'. Our friends were in another room and they also had problems. There was mold in the coffee maker, and no cover on the electric plug outlet. When he called the desk to request a new pot they told him "We have coffee down here". When he requested a box of tissue to fill the empty hole by the sink it never came. I could go on and on about this nightmare but Id like to forget it.
Oh! One more thing, the lady at the desk told me that our bill would be adjusted at checkout, but when confronted about that the next morning she told us she couldn't do it and we would have to talk to the manager who of course wasn't there at the time. Avoid this hotel like the plague!

Okay
I thought this hotel was well worth the price we paid for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was quite nice and not trashy in any way. This hotel was good just as a place to stay and sleep it offers no activities to family...

It was a not very pleasant experience. The phones did not work most of the time, the room had empty cans and dirty rags in it when checked in, had to call and replace light bulbs myself, just to name a few things. It was a complete waste of money.

I remember coming back to our hotel room one night after Cedar Point and our door was wide open but nothing was missing or anything... I let the front desk know- we remember locking the door also. Maid must have left it open.

This was without a doubt the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The owner was beyond rude, the staff was incompetent (and several were drunk on shift), the hotel did not seem safe (you could not lock the door from the inside), and the owner lie
