Rodeway promised us a Hot Tub, over the phone and at the front desk.
We checked in, changed into our swim suits, and went to the hot tub.
The hot was under repair -- it was empty with the parts all over the floor. We returned to the room which was about 85 F, even though
the heat was off. We changed, went to the front desk and complained.
The person at the front desk stated that he was aware of the hot tub problems,
apparently he had lied to us about the Hot Tub at check-in. He also stated that he was not willing to make any adjustments, (no room change
or price adjustment for the problems). We decided to leave, rather than
ruin the start of our Colorado trip. He threatened he had our credit
card # and would charge us anyway. I stated he did not have my authorization to do so.
We left and stayed down the road at the Montain Inn, it ws very nice.
Later, our card was fraudlently charged. The matter is under dispute,
and I am filing complaints with the BBB and State Consumer Protection Offices.
