I hated my stay. I reserved a two room suite for my son and his family (6 people).
The bedroom was a good size, but what would have been another bedroom was too small and dark. The windows were just across the ceiling. The room was divided into sitting room and bathroom, dressing room, refrigerator, and a microwave. Besides it being too small and dark, there was way too much of the wrong kind of furniture. There was a stand with drawers which held the TV, a long table, a round table with two chairs, a love seat which pulled out into a bed, and a coffee table. Where was the room for six people to sit and relax or eat or visit with others on the trip? I expected a real suite with room, light, and a good atmosphere for visiting and relaxing. You couldn't even move around, say nothing of relaxing.
The people were friendly and service was good what there was. The breakfast could have been healthier. They could have had fresh fruit instead of canned and real cereal instead of sugared imitation. The grits had tons of butter in them and only mild and water to drink. They could have had orange juice or apple juice and oatmeal and Total or some better cereal.
I really was most disappointed in the rooms. After all, I reserved what constituted five nights and felt like I was in the dungeon. I hated it. Also, I did not like the little perfume squirter. It was horrible to smell.
And when I asked for a room near my son, I was given a smoking room when I had reserved a non-smoking room. The smell was awful and I had to keep the heat off to feel I could even breathe. There was an offer to see some other rooms, but once you get in the room and have places to get to, it is a pain in the neck to pack up and move.
