35 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

We only remained here at the Knight's Inn in Bristol, VA because we were too tired to drive.

The bathroom was filthy. There was soap scum, hair, and dirt all over the floor and in the shower. The toilet tank top was grimy and gross. The light fixtures had numerous bugs in them. The towels were covered either with stains or hairs. I have stayed in countless motels over the years and never stayed in one this nasty. The hotel clerk didn't speak English well enough to even complain to.

My advice: Keep looking for another motel!

66 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The hotel was located near I-81 and near a nice restaurant. The room was clean and neat.

I am very likely to return to the Howard Johnson Bristol.
I might recommend it to friends.
