Hotel Kursaal & Ausonia is superbly located in the heart of Firenze: it is only a 10 min walk from the Cathedral and from the railway station and is close to all monument and museums. This wellcoming hotel was completely renovated in 2007 in order to offer a warm and elegant atmosphere. Our motto is: modernity in the classical tradition of Tuscany. The public areas are on the third floor and the characterised by a modern but at the same time classical design. The breakfast room, where a tasty buffet breakfast is served in the morning, is absolutely cosy and unique. The bar lounge together with the common room, with its sofas, books, newspapaers, Tv and internet access are the ideal places to stop and relax. The hotel offers 2 types of rooms based on the size: Standard and Superior. Some of the Superior also have a comfortable living room, some look out on the Cathedral, other on the roofs of Florence and some others have private balconies. The atmosphere is warm and cosy with pieces of ancient furniture together with modern details. Bathrooms follow the same logic: spacious, functional and comfortable. Two of the superior rooms have bathtubs.

They combine professionalism to cordiality and friendness and are always ready to give suggestions about particular itineraries; restaurants or typical dishes and about temporary exhibitions (theatre, concerts, moovies). All rooms with bath have been recently refurbished and they all have direct dial telephone, hair dryer, Sat-TV, air conditioning and some also have a fridge.Among the services offered to the guests: reservation of the principal museums (Uffizi, Accademia ...) so to avoid long queues, internet access, laundry and currency exchange.We do our best to help you feel welcome!
