Not everyone can afford $150+ for a quality hotel thats why when we find one its like a gem to us. Hotel du Fort is one of those hidden gems. It's overshadowed by some of the more popular hotels in Montreal, but this one is not as bad as one would come to expect. The staff is friendly and willing to be of assistance. The building is clean and the beds are comfy. The location isn't the best but is still acceptable. Restaurants in and out of the hotel all provide good food, but yet the price is still down to earth. A hotel that doesn't overprice itself is always one that I love.

I have been here once and the service at the frontdesk was terrible because the receptionists were bad. They couldnt even speak english properly and I didnt understand what they were talking about. I felt bad. But oh well the service at the hotel was good and the rooms are nice. I gotta say that people there are very fond of getting to know each other. Many people there are from Ontario and I met a few Canadian English speakers.. It wasn't that bad after all but I had a fun time. I loved the food there. There for ill give this a 9/10!

I stayed at Hotel du Fort for 3 days and found the hotel to be just average. The hotel offered a lot of good attributes but nothing that stands out. The room was clean and plain, beds were big enough and pretty comfortable, the service was good and willing to help. Hotel du Fort is located right in downtown and very convenient (shopping, movie, etc). For the price they were offering it is a good bet if you just want a place to stay and enjoy the city.

We stayed at Hotel du Fort which was located on Montreal and we were not disappointed! It is located on Saint Catherine St. which is the main downtown drag. You have access to all of the grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very professional and we were even able to check in early. The front desk staff and concierge gave us a lot of great info about restaurants and must-see's in Montreal. The rooms are spacious and very clean with a great kitchen that had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we did not have one complaint about our room. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we recommend that you come and check in Hotel du Fort.
