A friend who loves the place told us to go there for our honeymoon. Overwhelmed with wedding details, we just called them without research and booked a full ocean view room for 3 nights, and told them it was for our honeymoon -- and the internet...
51 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
It was a great location, with excellent food and service and plenty of surrounding area to explore and walk. It is a wonderful historic hotel in tip top shape.
They had electronic locks, security personnel on site and plenty of staff around.

44 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I felt like a king for a week. I had a wonderfully comfortable room. I liked the great atmosphere. The food was exceptional. The price was reasonable. I stayed in the off season. I got a free upgrade room! I was so relaxed. I liked the clean, safe, private beach. I will be back every year.
This is a place that draws entertainers and other dignitaries because of the safe and esthetic appeal. I felt like I was treated like a dignitary.
