Hotel Zaza

Not only great in Dallas..but Houston as well.

Hip and trendy hotel in Uptown Dallas. The Hotel Za Za is a must visit for the hip, fabulous, and those wanting to get a glimpse of Dallas' visiting young A-list Hollywood and movie industry celebrities. Decorated in a muted hued, modern Asian style with flashes of red, the Za Za is a boutique hotel that artfully serves the needs of business travelers and the beautiful people alike. The standard rooms are equipped with all the essentials: high speed internet, flat screen TVs, CD players, and plush beds with 300+ thread count sheets. If you're up for something more dramatic, opt for one of the many themed suites including the opulent ZaZa suite, the modern Metropolitan suite, or the groovy purple hued Shag-a-delic suite. While you're at the Za Za be sure to schedule a spa treatment like a hot stone massage. The staff will treat you like a king or queen. Once you've relaxed , enjoy dinner at the Asian fusion Dragonfly restaurant and cap off the evening with late night drink by the pool. You may even get a glimpse of a celebrity lounging by the glowing pool at night. With everything Za Za has to offer, you will be sad to leave the hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Zaza in March 2006. My friends and I were there for a girl's weekend away. Both nights the Hotel was filled with drunk, out-of-control college students. We saw people passed out, loud yelling, slamming of doors. Even room service was clanking metal outside our room at 2:30 am.

We finally left the hotel and they informed us that we did not owe them anything. Then they proceeded to bill us for the room at a rate greater than was originally stated.

In addition, our spa service, which was made weeks advance, was messed up so we did not get the service we had booked.

I would not recommend staying here! There are plenty of hotels in Dallas that are much better.
