Hotel Victor, on Ocean Drive, where internationally-renowned, Paris-based decorator Jacques Garcia will bring his exuberant talents to bare on an ultra-luxurious, 91 room retreat overlooking the Atlantic. With a glamorous look and tropical ambience, Hotel Victor will stand apart as an oasis of chic, providing passersby with just a hint of provocative and seductive interior life. Adjacent to the 'Versace Mansion,' Hotel Victor will capitalize on its central location and become the hotbed of sizzle on South Beach. Rooms will be awash in luxurious fabrics and materials, with rich colored satin headboards and curtain trim, white marble, ebony lacquered furniture, flat screen TV's and plush custom weave carpeting. Bedrooms will seamlessly open to all-white marble bathrooms with deep dramatic bathtubs. Pool Bungalow rooms will have private outdoor showers and terraces adjoining the pool area. Suites will have panoramic windows providing direct ocean views from the living areas and bedrooms and open baths, which will feature Infinity edge tubs. The pool was designed as homage to the glamorous, shaped watering holes of the 40's; the pool will be surrounded by Garcia-designed furniture, including oversized daybeds and cabana tents, perfect for poolside lounging. Extending off the lobby area will be VIX, with culturally inspired cuisine from the legendary Spice Route. Also designed by Garcia, the restaurant will feature a large exhibition kitchen and chef's table. VUE is an informal outdoor restaurant featuring a tapas and ceviche bar and beds for guests to lounge on. A 6,000 square foot European-style spa, Spa V, features 7 treatment rooms with wet and dry treatments, relaxation room, steam room and Turkish Hammam.

Right across the street from Miami Beach on Ocean Drive. Rooms are smaller than average hotel room, the dividers in the form of curtains give it a larger feel. Short walk from shops, bars and restaurants. 2 blocks from Washington Avenue where you can catch the South Beach Local bus which is convenient and takes you past attractions such as Lincoln Road, the Holocaust Memorial, and Joe's Stone Crab restaurant. Staff many times came accross as rude. Service was slow in restaurant and not too friendly. Lots of loud parties with the under 30 set which might bother some people. The public areas and small pool were nice but some less clean than others.

Excellent
We have stayed here twice - the staff are excellent and V Spa is really elegant and yet fun. The pool is small but it is an intimate hotel and we never felt crowded. Breakfast is great and the...
Clean, wonderful atmosphere, and very comfortable. I recommend this hotel and guarantee you'll love it. It's a little pricey but it's worth every penny. I liked every thing about Hotel Victor and the staff is very friendly.

The ultimate South Beach vibe. Stayed 3 nights for business. Fabulous people watching, chic ultra-modern decor and prime location on Ocean Drive. You're cool to stay here. Only downside is the noise- rooms are located above the pool, and can cause for noisy evenings if you're an early bird. Fortunately I'm not. Best to stay during the week (not-Thurs. Fri or Sat) for quieter times. Check out the jelly fish tank. Very cool.

The restaurant staff was extremely slow. I'm not sure if it was because we ate between two and three in the afternoon but it was extremely poor service. Also, the food on the breakfast buffet was cold and tasteless, not to mention expensive.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Hotel Victor.
I would not recommend it to friends.
