Originally built in 1956, Hotel Valley Ho became a hot spot for celebrities of the era with its inviting pool courtyard. Now this former hideaway for Hollywood's favorites reemerges after an $80 million rehabilitation as Scottsdale's hottest new urban resort and recaptures the flavor of its classic mid-century design. Paying tribute to the original flavor of its classic mid-century design, Hotel Valley Ho reopened on December 20, 2005, as downtown Scottsdale's most exclusive luxury hotel. Originally a hideaway for Bogart, Bing and Marilyn, this Scottsdale hotel once again features spacious rooms with all-glass walls opening onto large private patios or balconies. New enhancements include the VH Spa (Vitality + Health) offering eight treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness facility for workouts overlooking the pool, a movement studio for private Yoga or exercise classes, music and massage in private cabanas, and dining at Cafe ZuZu, Trader Vic's, and the poolside Oh Pool Bar + Cabanas..

Excellent
This hotel personifies understated elegance and hipster cool. Very nice accommodations, without being pretentious. Service from bartenders was spotty during my stay, but that is a kink they can...

It was a great experience, the hotel had a wonderful staff and it was an unique lodging experience. This is not your average generic hotel property, it has character.
Since this trip was for business, I stayed at a higher level hotel than I would have for a personal trip. That said, this had lots of nice touches that made the hotel unique.
I am very likely
to return to the Hotel Valley Ho.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The staff was helpful, courteous and smiling. They obviously enjoy their guests as much as they enjoy their jobs. The parking attendants called us by name, the waitresses welcomed us as if we were in their homes, yet were not intrusive. Our questions about the roof deck brought some one immediately, eager to show us the view. We were asked about our hotel stay, as well as our visit in the area. These people are great ambassadors for Scottsdale as well as the Valley Ho!
