Armani meets Art Deco at Denver's finest luxury hotel. Rated "Best Hotel in Denver" by Zagat 2005, and "World's Best Business Hotel" by Travel + Leisure 2005. Hotel Teatro is located in the heart of downtown, adjacent to the Denver Center for Performing Arts and within walking distance of the Pepsi Center, Coors Field and the Colorado Convention Center.Housed in Denver's Historic Tramway Building, Hotel Teatro opened its doors in 1999 as Denver's premier boutique luxury hotel. The elegance of the original building is seen today in the beautiful marble entrance and in carefully preserved touches throughout the hotel. The proximity to the Performing Arts Complex was the inspiration for the name Teatro, which means theatre in Italian. Beautiful theatrical costumes and photographs adorn the walls of the parlor and guestrooms. Hotel Teatro is designed to blend the grandeur of yesterday with the modern conveniences available today.Guestrooms are decorated in rich, soft gold or sage tones. Indonesian sandstone foyers set the stage of refined elegance, complemented by custom built cherry wood armoires and headboards, luxurious Frette linens, contemporary art deco furniture covered with fine fabrics and lavish touches like down comforters.

What an incredible hotel and attentive staff. As a frequent traveler, I can tell you this is a well run, lovely hotel, full of people just trying to make your stay wonderful. Great, impeccably clean room, wonderful linens, comfy bed, great Aveda...
I take exception with the only poor review here; who faults the HOTEL when they book a room and show up a day late for the reservation? The service my wife and I received at Teatro was as good as we've ever had. The concierge, Carolyn, was exceptional: recommendations, reservations, directions, advice -- all were top-notch. And the room was great, too. We'll be back!

I was in Denver for a seminar that started on Sunday. Instead of staying at the hotel where the seminar was being held, I stayed at the Hotel Teatro. The location was excellent and the room was...
55 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business
This is a fine hotel, but I made a one-day mistake as to my day of arrival, and they billed me for it! When I checked in, they said that I had been there the night before and had checked out. Of course, this was not true, as I had just arrived from the airport.
When I got home, I found that not only did I get a bill for the two nights that I was there, but they insisted that I pay for the night that I wasn't there.
Legally correct, but no way to treat guests.
There are many fine hotels in Denver. Choose one that is more customer friendly!

I place dozens of business executives at the Teatro every year. I have NEVER had on complaint. Every exec staying at the Teatro raves about the location, comfort and service. While the company pays for most guests, those who have paid themselves...

We love the Hotel Teatro! The staff is warm and accommodating, the rooms are newly redecorated, the beds are comfy AND they're pet friendly. We were welcomed by Wes at the front door who, subsequently, recognized us by name and was sure to have...

Hotel Teatro in Denver got it right.
From the moment the bellman opened the cab door to welcome you in, every connection with a hotel employee was consistent. Consistently excellent and I was surprised by my appreciation for it. Then I realized, how often does one receive a truly 'hospitable' experience in a downtown hotel in a major US city? Rarely I believe. As a seasoned business traveler, I know what I'm looking for and I know what is real and not real.
The rooms, the comfort and quality of the environment was stellar - as expected. The real beauty was the service....the unexpected excellence that was delivered from the bellman to the front desk to the concierge to the housekeeper. They all got it right.
I encourage anyone booking a hotel in Denver to only consider the Hotel Teatro for a genuine hospitable experience.
My wife and I stayed here a few years back. It was a great exprience, and a friendly staff. Rooms were a little small though. They were very helpful in getting us where we needed to go with their Land Rover shuttle service.
Friendly courteous staff, comfortable room with every amenity, fabulous bathroom, and a bed that lures you to sleep. Convenient walking distance to the best parts of the city, and quick shuttle available if you need a lift.
