female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
What a wonderful place to stay. We were 3 mothers looking to add some adventure to our lives we found it here. We couldnt ask for a better place to stay the staff was great always helpful pointing us in the right direction. Just blocks way from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy it all. But if you are looking for room service at 3 am and an upscale, ritsy atmosphere then this place is not for you. But if you are down to earth and easy to please this is a wonderful place to be.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel St. Pierre and we both agree it is a wonderful place to stay in New Orleans. 2 blocks from Bourbon Street and a quick 5 block walk to Cafe Dumond. I brought coffee and bignets each morning and enjoyed the ...
This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. We booked a suite and when we got to the hotel to check in we were immediately disappointed in the physical appearance. The lobby looked like a flop house with a bunch of...

Location is the main thing. It's in the French Quarter, three blocks from Bourbon Street. If you need a place to crash, then it's okay. If you drive to the hotel, expect to pay for parking that's 5 blocks away. If you need a roomy place, ask for the larger rooms. I had to turn sideways to get in the door to the room(French Doors). Service was nice, and they don't worry about you taking ice for the coolers. Used to be the location for the Jazz Hall of Fame.

The hotel seems to cater to college students that stumble back to the hotel from Bourbon St at all hours. Not conducive with the other guests sleeping. One night when the students were out the pool until 1:30, the management staff claimed there was nothing they could do. Thet explained to my wife and I that was "part of" staying in the French Quarter.

pros: the courtyard, free parking, and serviceThe courtyard is beautiful! There are so many varieties of plants and the path throughout the hotel is like a small fun labyrinth. The hotel room is very quaint. If you are looking for a hotel room...
My wife and I stayed at this hotel because their sister hotel Andrew Jackson Hotel did not have a double bed room we had reserved. After being shown a double bed room at Andrew Jackson, then told an hour later it was not available, our credit card...
