Hotel St James

We stayed at st. james28th September to 7th October 2007. Hotel is basic. Had a lovely very large room with two double beds - adequate wardrobe and draw space. lovely bathroom with shower. room and bed linen very clean. room cleaned each day. reception staff friendly and helpful. just next door at Dunhill a fantastic deli - ate there every day - staff very friendly. Just a couple of things that would be good to have at hotel - an in room safe. - card type key to room so no need to leave at reception each time you go out. Another good point - place to leave luggage if necessary and a late check out time. The price was fantastic for such a hotel so near to Times Square, subways and theaters. Couldn't have wished for a better place. Would definitely love to visit again in the future - gill and david - england.

This hotel was wonderful. It is perfect for those traveling and just need a hotel to sleep and take a shower. The Hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and the best part is you walk outside and you are half a block away from Times Square and the theater district!!!! I already have reservations to stay here in the Spring of '08.

They have a very friendly staff. They're accommodating and informative. I was thankful for baggage storage.

This hotel made me feel content: I was happy to have a clean room quickly, with an efficient desk person.
