Stayed here 3 nights, it was close to many things but we had to change rooms due to the bathroom (the toilet was located in the shower) and the dirtiness of the room. There was large stains on the floor and on the blanket and the walls were peeling....

My wife and I stayed in Hotel Rex in 2003 and 2004 and just love it. The location is perfect - halfway between the train station and the Duomo. The little street it is on has a bakery, cheese shop, and even an Irish pub (right across the street). ...
