21 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Let me start by saying that I travel a lot on a tight budget. All I require is a reasonably clean room with a bed and locks on the doors. I have never before written a bad review of a hotel, but I am writing one now. The front desk assigned our roo

We booked two rooms using HotWire at a three-star hotel in Fayetteville. This place might score two stars on a good day. Half the light bulbs in my "suite" were gone. Not burned out - they weren't there. The Internet connection lasted about five min

Okay
I am very excited about this property. The historic building is full of charm, and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. The owner has huge plans to invest in improvements, so expect this hotel to get better with...
54 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT MY STAY THERE ALTHOUGH AFTER WORKING THERE I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE. KITCHEN WAS FULL OF ROACHES. AND AFTER WORKING IN THIS UNHEALTHY ENVIROMENT FOR THREE DAYS AFTER BEING HIRED BY OWNER TO DO WORK. WHICH WAS DONE IN A PROFESIONAL & TIMLEY MANOR AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE THEY DECIDED NOT TO PAY THERE BILL. WILL NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS OR MAKE ANY EFFORT TO SETTLE THIS MATTER SO NOW IM IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING THEM TO COURT OVER A BILL THATS LESS THAN EFFORT ITS GOING TO TAKE TO GET IT. THIS HOTEL IS VERY UNPROFESIONAL AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT EVEN TO MY ENEMIES.

There is something to be said when a hotel calls you a month before the wedding to inform you because they are under new management, they will no longer honor the agreements.
This hotel is all about excuses. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
35 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I spent a night there in March of 2007. The tour book said it was a 3-Star hotel. Maybe a decade ago, under different management, with a different staff. The toilet didn't work, th phone didn't work, the movie system didn't work. There were hairs and stains everywhere. I asked for an extra pillow to compensate for the two 20-year old pillows we were given. They said they didn't have any! Hot water was minimal as well.
Believe me, the folks at Clarion forgot about this place and any tour book that says otherwise is not keeping up with the products they claim to know. I went on the official Clarion website to make a compliment and what-do-you-know--they don't even have it in their database. Smart move.

Excellent
This hotel is unlike any other I've ever stayed in. It is on the National Historical Registar. It is old and creapy in a good way. It kind of reminds you of a scary movie. There is an oldtime elevator and marble staircases. It is absolutely...

All Review Photos This is the prettiest and oldest hotel in Fayetteville, and it is in the middle of the downtown revitalization. Most of the rooms are suites, with lovely furnishings and sitting areas. The prices vary WILDLY, so call well ahead...
