Hotel Plaza Athenee

They had excellent service and excellent rooms. It was in a great location, facing Central Park. It was very expensive, but it makes you feel like a star for a few days!

The location was superb - between Madison and Park Avenues. The room the quietest room we had in NYC; there was no sound of taxi horns, dumpsters or sirens. The room was very comfortable with a spacious marble covered bath area and plush linens. The concierge service was very personable. The restaurant was well above average for a hotel restaurant - delicious food and excellent service. It was raining hard on the night we attended the opera; the doorman arranged a ride in the house car, which was a very comfortable Mercedes driven by a most responsible gentleman.
