60 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
You need to get on the 5th floor for a decent room if overlooking the street. We were on the 2nd. It was noisy and dark. There were no places for suitcases except one small fold out holder. We had several and had to get on our hands and knees to access our suitcases. We were traveling with another couple who got put on the 5th floor, which was ok. Our room was dreary, noisy and scantly furnished. Sheets were torn. Asked to "pay" for a better room but couldn't get them to upgrade. Pay extra and get a better hotel. Cute and quaint doesn’t' get it. We were just "stuck" and a depressing end for our anniversary trip!
