Today The Hotel Leger is still operating as one of the oldest hotels in Calif. It is well Known for its good service, food, and ghost lohr. Moke Hill also a host to the oldest Catholic Church in Calif. & the oldest 3 story building in Calif. The old Calaveras Court House, now part of the hotel, was purchased by G. Leger in 1864.
