Nestled at the foot of a breathtaking panorama of snow capped peaks on British Columbia's rugged west coast lies Vancouver - a city known for its culture, charm and beauty. And if Vancouver is an oyster, a deluxe intimate hotel has become its pearl. Introducing Hotel Le Soleil, a 119-room luxury boutique hotel, situated in the heart of Vancouver's downtown financial, shopping and business districts.

Le Soleil is located in the financial district and is only a block from the Pacific Centre Mall and the Skytrain. The rooms are one-bedroom suites and can accommodate up to 4 people. The vary quite a lot in size and the corners suites are much smaller than you'd expect, but they are clean and well equipped with bathrobes and nice Aveda bathroom products. The business centre with secretarial service is good, and there are fitness facilities available next door including an indoor pool and steam room, although there is a fee for this. The hotel restaurant serves an interesting selection of Asian Mediterranean food including Japanese, Chinese and Southeast Asian ingredients. There are also restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are helpful and polite and courteous.

Location. Located two blocks from Robson Street's chic shops, Hotel Le Soleil is three blocks from the cruise-ship terminal in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Pacific Centre Mall is located one block away, while Vancouver's birthplace, Gastown, offers historic and cultural attractions five blocks from the hotel. Hotel Features. This property's two-story fine-dining restaurant, the Copper Chimney, displays Asian decor within a Tuscan architectural setting. As unique as the building itself, the menu offers a distinctive blend of Indian and West Coast cuisines. Complimentary use of the hotel's computer plus services that include faxing, photocopying and printing, are extended to guests of the hotel. Perhaps this hotel's biggest asset is the refined European elegance that stems from its distinguished crystal chandeliers, fluted columns in the lobby and the sophisticated Louis XIV furnishings. Additional hotel amenities include concierge assistance and 24-hour reception services. Guestrooms. Hotel Le Soleil features 120 suites with separate sitting and sleeping areas, sofa beds and two televisions. Crimson and gold decor accents satin-covered Louis-XV-style furnishings, and classic European art embellishes yellow and gold striped walls. Beds are dressed in down pillows and duvets, along with combed-cotton sheets. All bedrooms are comprised of one mirrored wall and windows that open. Marble bathrooms feature Aveda toiletries and oversized shower stalls. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is complimentary. Additional room amenities include bedside cordless phones, safe-deposit boxes, coffeemakers and bathrobes. Select suites provide minibars and deep soaker bathtubs. Expert Tip. This hotel is located two blocks from Sinclair Centre, an atrium shopping mall that stands within a historic building overlooking the waterfront. The exclusive retailers and restaurants attract a host of international patrons.
