30 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The location of Hotel Saint Paul was great. There is a wonderful market across the street, and the neighborhood was filled with little shops and restaurants. The price of the hotel also couldn't be beat, and the staff was very helpful and kind.
The room, on the other hand, was not designed with travelers in mind. First, it was very dark. This is mostly because 3 walls and the ceiling were painted black! Also, there was minimal lighting. The bathroom had no hooks, shelves, or counter space. We didn't know where to put our things. There was no extra mirror or vanity space that many hotels offer. There was no alarm clock! It seemed to me that Hotel Saint Paul was trying to create a cutting-edge, modern look, but forgot about basic comforts and needs.
