We stay at this hotel when we are town for the motherload volleyball tournament. The rooms are spacious and clean. The atmosphere and superb service make it the best place to stay in Aspen. This is not motel 6 and the room rates reflect the high...

Excellent
The Jerome was the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in, absolutely stunning. The new section of the building was built to match verbatim the original hotel, so you didn't have the feeling of moving from the historic building into some crappy annex,...

Excellent
I stayed here for a few nights a few summers ago and it was fabulous. The hotel is very charming and has a great location. We had amazing hikes during the day and fabulous five-star dining at night.
The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, mornings were well-spent around the fireplace reading the many papers complimentary to the guests (with Starbucks coffee-also free), then wherever you wanted to go in Aspen, the great staff would take you. ...

Okay
We stayed in room 116 and every morning we were awoken at 0615 by the sound of the linen service raising and lowering the lift gate on the service truck to load linen carts. We were also there when some organization was having a conference and our...

30 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Located centrally, the rooms are gorgeous and service comes at a very high price. If you are not among the ultra-rich, expect mediocre service from the staff. Make sure you retain all hard copies of what you are promised, as they kept on changing all the details, including appointments and even switched the cards that offered special services when we had gone out for sight-seeing. We were very disappointed.

Okay
Enjoy a bar resturant right on Main Street. Interesting patrons both now and in the past. A few pictures on the wall feature various famous actors of the past. Must have been fun in the 60s and 70s, during the 'small-town' years of Aspen. I can only ...

An excellent experience if you're willing to pay the price. Better service than the bigger hotels and a bit more private and low-key. If you want to avoid the attitude that sometimes defines the Aspen hotel scene, this is the place. I got engaged here and the staff was so helpful and involved when I needed them to be. Rooms are very large. Only downside is location relative to the gondola since it's about a 10 minute walk on the other side of town. However the hotel offers free shuttles.
