Excellent
Old bank building covered into large guest rooms with Texas size bathrooms, featuring separate showers and huge tubs. All staff personnel very friendly.
56 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This is an expensive hotel and not as worthy as the price would indicate. Our room had classy decor, but that's where it stopped. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned (hair in the tub drain, melted water in the ice bucket), and the bathroom lighting is horrible for a woman...and no make-up mirror. The water pressure is lousy and luke warm, so I couldn't get the shampoo out of my hair. The pillows had obviously been put in the dryer because the foam was very lumpy. Mediocre beds, especially compared to other high-standard hotels. The biggest negative is the energy management system which shuts the A/C down if no movement is noted in the guest room. About 2:45am we awoke bathed in sweat and had to get up and walk around to get the A/C to activate again. We had to do that twice! I can't imagine how hot this will be in the middle of summer.
Bar personnel were friendly but more anxious to go home then serve us. Valet parking is $25 bucks a day and they will provide transportation around the town so that is a plus.
