Despite calling the morning of arrival day to confirm again our king Sleep-number bed, when we arrived we were told that all were in use. Disappointing since that's the reason we booked this hotel. Was offered a $15 discount for a non-sleep number bed and I could have booked the same room online for $25 less per night. The hotel is tired looking, hall way carpets have big wrinkles upon exiting the elevator. There were 26 lights (tiny marque type) that had burned out in the entrance. Cigarette butts in the smoking area were on the ground and remained in the same place all 4 days of our stay. Old spilled drinks on the sidewalk were never hosed down. Pretty tired looking considering this was just a few weeks before furniture market when you'd think they'd do their best to be "spiffy."

The rooms were shabby, as were the lobby and the elevator. From far away, it looked nice, but at a close up you could see the wear and tear. The housekeeping staff came very early and suggested we would not want housekeeping because it was a short stay. The carpet in our room was torn, the beds were hard and my chicken strips from room service were overdone.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Hotel High Point.
I might recommend it to friends.
