It's a great hotel

44 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. If you are looking for a funky retro feel, this is the place to be. Also, they are a dog friendly hotel. Our Dalmatian was greeted with a dog biscuit and pet bowls. Our only criticism would be that the TV doesn't get HBO or Showtime. We missed the season premiere of "The Sopranos".

The satellite TV went out during a thunderstorm; I wish they had a few more premium channels. The tubs need upgrading.

I am very likely to return to the Hotel Helix.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It's a great hotel. I already recommended it to others. It's the first time I ever stayed there and it was also the first time in a long time I sincerely felt excited about my accommodations. There was a problem with the lights over the bed -- but it was fixed promptly and efficiently. The staff is great.

I am very likely to return to the Hotel Helix.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
