The Grand Pacific Hotel is located in the very heart of Victoria's Inner Harbour, next to the Parliament Buildings and within walking distance of the boutiques, museums, galleries and cafes of historic Old Town and Antique Row. The rooms are clean and comfortable and feature balconies and complimentary high-speed Internet access. The suites are very spacious and have fantastic views. The Pacific Restaurant, Lounge, and Terrace serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the service is friendly and attentive. The hotel has an Athletic Club which features a 25-metre lap pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, squash and racquet ball courts and a well equipped gym. However, this is open to the public as well as guests so it can get busy. The staff are who make the hotel here - they will help you with absolutely anything from whale watching trips to recommending restaurants. They are always polite, professional and efficient.

Yes, a little pricey but worth every penny. I love this hotel. I've stayed others in Victoria including the Empress (don't get me started on their poor service and tiny tiny rooms) but the Hotel Grand Pacific is no. 1.

All Review Photos Luckily when we went to Victoria the Titanic exhibit was in town and several of the nice hotels had great deals on their rooms. I picked the Hotel Grand Pacific because it was close the Victoria Clipper dock and it also appeared...

The bed mattress was terrible, but as soon as I reported the problem, the mattress was replaced with a very comfortable one. They offered gracious service and that was the only complaint.
We were there for a dress up convention and they provided hosts and hostesses in dress.
I am very likely
to return to the Hotel Grand Pacific.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Okay
This is a very expensive hotel with cheap room furniture. Seriously, I paid nearly $* per night for a room with scratched furniture, a cheap couch, and no pizzazz. They offer few amenities over a $* a night hotel. No continental breakfast, guests...
19 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel we stayed at was the Hotel Grand. The reason we chose to stay here was because it was close some tourist attractions. There was a harbor where I got to go on a boat ride and some boring museum. I think the price of this hotel was more expensive because it was much prettier inside. The room we got was big but there was just something about it that didn't make it look too comforting. We spent most of our time outside taking pictures and sight seeing. The staff here was nice because I remember on our final day here, as we were leaving, one of the people working here asked if we wanted him to help us take a picture in front of the hotel. I felt that it was a nice gesture.

This was the first visit to Victoria for my wife and I. After extensive research, I chose the Hotel Grand Pacific. When we checked in, there was an error in our reservation, and our room had two double beds right over the entrance. I called the...
