The Austria Trend Favorita is a really good choice in Vienna. At first glance I thought it was a little out of the way but the location turned out to be perfect. There are a number of really nice shops and restaurants in the immediate area and if you want to head into the centre, there is an underground station two minutes away which leads right into the city. Also, if you've had enough of the underground you can jump in a taxi for about ?7. The room I had at the Favorita was really large for hotels in Vienna and came with all the usual features. I had a courtyard facing room which was quiet and pretty relaxing after a days walking but I saw some with a street view which also looked nice. The hotel has a small cafe which faces onto their gardens and serves really nice pastries. Also, if your in need of a bit of pampering there is a Sauna and Steam Room which is complimentary although I must admit I didn't use either. All in all, a great choice.
