I have used the Faidherbe four times a year for the last ten years and never in my life seen an iron in my room!!
This hotel used to be exceptional when owned by Gerard and Francoiose, Unfortunately they sold in January of this year and from then the hotel has been on the downward slide. The new owners never put in a apearance and the staff are surley to say the least. At one time it used to be a pleasure to stay in such a friendly inviting hotel, sadly this is no longer the case. Boulogne sur Mer is a beautiful town with some very nice hotels. The Faidherbe now isnt one of them
