55 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

Instead of a peaceful romantic getaway, my wife and I were treated to a rock concert outside our window all day until 10 PM and a loud set up crew at 5AM for the Sunday market. There was no warning about the outrageous noise when our reservation was made. Our "luxury fireplace suite" was a cramped, poorly furnished room, and the "fireplace" was a comical tiny space heater that did not work. The manager's reception consisted of one glass of bad wine, and the free breakfast was lousy coffee and terrible scrambled eggs across the street. The staff was totally unresponsive.
