55 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Instead of a peaceful romantic getaway, my wife and I were treated to a rock concert outside our window all day until 10 PM and a loud set up crew at 5AM for the Sunday market. There was no warning about the outrageous noise when our reservation was made. Our "luxury fireplace suite" was a cramped, poorly furnished room, and the "fireplace" was a comical tiny space heater that did not work. The manager's reception consisted of one glass of bad wine, and the free breakfast was lousy coffee and terrible scrambled eggs across the street. The staff was totally unresponsive.
Stayed for 2 nights on business, and loved it. The room was spacious and well appointed. The beds were phenomenal! Also, the bathroom had heated tile floors, which were great. When I was there, there was some construction outside in the AM, but...

Astoria is a charming town, and the Hotel Elliott is the perfect place to stay for great luxury and incredible style. My husband and I first went for our anniversary, and we expect to stay again and again.
