This is a charming old hotel nestled in a residential San Francisco neighborehood. My husband and I went there for a 2 night weekend getaway and loved it. The old charm was definitely still there but much of the hotel was updated with modern comforts. Really comfortable beds, big fluffy down comforters and tasteful decor. We didn't really eat at the hotel except for grabbing some quick breakfast which was quite good. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. I would recommend going here without reservation --even to my pickiest friends and relatives!
