Hotel Carlisle Hotel - Page 1

We really enjoy going to Hotel Carlisle. This is the second year we have stayed there for Carlisle Truck Nationals. The rooms are clean and service is great. Hotel Carlisle is very conveniently located for easy access to many major highways.

The Hotel Carlisle is an independent hotel, one of the things I like about it. It could use some updating and remodeling but it is still clean and comfortable. The service is good and whenever I would report something to the front desk such as we needed an electrical cord taped down in the meeting room, they took care of it immediately. The location is good and it is one of the few in that area that has the amenities needed for our meetings.

The hotel has had better times.

We were a long way from the pool, the lobby, etc., but our room was a suite. The sheets were crisp and clean as was the bathroom. We picked up one of those travel coupon books in Connecticut (Welcome Center) and got two rooms for $58.00 apiece and our room was wonderful. We found some shortcuts that were not bad. It smelled like Pennsylvania, for those of you who understand what I mean by that. It was kind of damp, and musty but not a sickening smell to me. We had a very nice dinner but did not know about the "limited breakfast". The pool and spa were in working order and there is a section that is one foot and is especially nice for very young children.
