My daughter had her wedding there and it was awful. Perhaps the hotel is okay if you are only staying for a night or two - but don't expect anything extra from the front desk staff. They couldn't care less about customer satisfaction!

Excellent
I stayed here after a prolonged absence from my husband. I had limited funds available but that didn't matter to the staff they still treated me and my husband like a million bucks.
When I checked in the staff asked me some questions to...
23 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business
I just got back from a fantastic visit to Bellingham. I'm currently living in the SJ Valley in California (way too hot!). I drove into Bellingham on business and didnt have a place to stay. So, I punched in "Hotels" on the navigation system in the rental car and the Bellweather Hotel came up. After driving up to and away from a couple hotels, was so happy to find this one.
The staff was/is great as well as the rooms/services offered. I only had a chance to dine at the Hotel restaruant once - but it was great. Very quiet and clean hotel with nice decor. Quite possibly the best thing about this hotel are the terraces that overlook the B'ham bay - if you're in the west side of the hotel. All rooms have a terrace, just not all with a view. Another nice surprise was the huge bathrooms! It was massive. Nice all glass stall shower and spa-tub. Also there are fireplaces in the rooms - very nice touch!
All in all...one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at.

Okay
My wife and I stayed here one night. Staff was terrible. Took 3 of them forever to register us. Dirty dishes in hallways in late afternoon. Surly staff making snide remarks in parking garage. Large, badly designed rooms.
