The bed was okay but fundamentally that is why I get a hotel room and it was the cheapest mattress I have slept on in a hotel that cost more than $40...and it was WAY more than $40 the nights I was there.

Loved its location across from 24-hour Fairway market. Wish its prices were still as low as they were when we "discovered" it. Great for Foodies; Zabars is just up the street. And for Christmas presents.

An excellent value! Perfect for a group of four young moms on a "Moms Take Manhattan" trip. The neighborhood has a "family feel" with lots of people pushing babies in strollers. Everything you need is right there with the subway just a short walk ...
The room safe wouldn't open; the maid cleaned our room but didn't replace our glasses or plates; the pull-out couch would not open or close once opened; the edges of the couch were torn and tattered.
